Join us on Saturday, October 17, for Teaching Techniques, the second session of Ivey Ranch’s Instructor in Training series. This 11-month Therapeutic/Adaptive Riding Education Series meets once a month, and like most sessions in the series, this one combines classroom learning with hands-on time in and around the barn and arena.

The series is designed for aspiring PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructors (CTRI®), current and prospective volunteers, and anyone who wants to expand their knowledge of horses and therapeutic riding. No certification plans or previous professional experience are required, and you’re welcome to attend individual sessions without committing to the full series.

  • Duration: 1½ hours
  • Experience: Open to all experience levels

What to Wear

Come dressed for both a classroom setting and hands-on work in and around the barn and arena. Closed-toe shoes are recommended.
