Spend your birthday at Ivey Ranch — 12 acres of open space, a therapy herd that loves visitors, and a hands-on horse experience that beats any party venue in town. Groups of 2 to 12, ages 6 and up.
What’s Included
Your group gets 1.5 hours with our horses — not just a quick pony ride, but a real, immersive experience from start to finish.
Stable Tour & Horse Anatomy
(45 minutes) Meet our therapy herd, tour the barns, and learn about horse anatomy and what goes into caring for these animals every day.
Grooming & Tacking Up
Participants get hands-on time grooming and helping prepare their horse for the ride — one of the most memorable parts of the day.
Mounted Instruction
(30–45 minutes) Everyone rides. Participants learn the basics of equitation and horsemanship in a safe, instructor-led setting.
Games on Horseback
The session wraps up with mounted games — a fun way to put new skills to the test with friends.
Host Your Party in the Park
The horse experience is just the beginning. Ivey Ranch has a beautiful park area your family is welcome to use before or after your time with the horses. Available upon request:

Booking Details
- Cost: $90 per participant
- Group Size: Minimum 2, maximum 12 participants
- Age Requirement: Ages 6 and up — mixed age groups and whole families are welcome
- Duration: 1.5 hours with the horses
- Availability: Sunday through Friday; limited Saturday sessions available upon request
Because our horses also serve in our therapeutic programs, birthday slots fill quickly. We recommend reaching out as early as possible to check availability for your preferred date.
What to Know Before You Come
- Attire: All participants must wear long pants and sturdy, closed-toe shoes. No sandals, flip-flops, or shorts.
- Helmets: Safety helmets are provided for all participants during the riding portion.
- Paperwork: A completed application packet is required for all participants prior to the event. Download the packet above and submit before your scheduled date.
Frequently Asked Questions
Not at all. Our instructors work with all ability levels, from first-time riders to those with more experience. The session is designed to be accessible and fun for everyone.
Yes — whole families are welcome. Mixed age groups are fine, and adults can join in the experience alongside the kids.
Our staff are experienced at working with nervous or first-time visitors. The stable tour and grooming portion give participants a chance to get comfortable with the horses before anyone gets in the saddle.
Participant and horse safety is our top priority. If weather conditions make the session unsafe, we will work with you to reschedule. Contact our office for details.
As early as possible — birthday slots fill quickly because our horses are also active in therapeutic programs. We recommend reaching out at least a few weeks in advance, especially for weekend dates.
You’re welcome to bring your own food, cake, and decorations for the park area. The barbecue, tables, and restroom facilities are available upon request.
