Our specialized after-school and all-day care program serves children and young adults ages 5-21, providing a safe, inclusive environment where participants can thrive. With qualified staff trained in child development, engaging activities including sensory play and outdoor recreation, and nutritious meal options, we create a supportive space that meets each participant’s unique needs. Our program operates during after-school hours, summer break, and school holidays, following the Oceanside Unified School District calendar. Registration Fee: $120 Annually (non-refundable)
Enrollment Deposit: One full-time weekly payment (refundable per policy guidelines)

Enrollment FAQs
Prospective participants must be between the ages of 5-21, have a diagnosis, and be enrolled in school. Participants must be willing to listen and follow directions given by staff and volunteers, and must be able to participate in a group setting.
IRPA’s School-Age Program cannot accommodate participants who require 1:1 staffing due to behaviors. Participants with a history of aggression, violent, or self-injurious behaviors are subject to further review. The program cannot accept participants who currently display these behaviors.
Yes, IRPA’s School-Age Program accepts participants who rely on others to perform Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
Ivey Ranch does not have a licensed professional on staff to provide care to those who have or use: diabetes management, enemas or suppositories, inhalation-assistive devices, urinary catheters, or similar medical interventions requiring specialized clinical care.
Participants whose needs cannot be met by our staff and facility, or those with conditions or behaviors that are likely to cause physical or mental harm to self or others, may not be eligible for enrollment.
Program hours can be paid for privately, by a participant’s regional center, CDA, YMCA, or by Financial Management Services (FMS).
Yes, participants may be enrolled part-time and choose which days they would like to attend. However, participants should maintain a set schedule for consistency. Please email Daisy@iveyranch.com for more information about part-time enrollment options.
