My passion for working with kids began over 20 years ago as a nanny and daycare provider. After graduating from Cal State San Marcos with a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies, I began volunteering at Ivey Ranch. I jumped into everything — from Grooming Gang and Barn Buddies to camp, PATH workshops, and tours.
That dedication turned into a career. I was hired as a Therapeutic Riding Instructor, and in 2019, I transitioned to our School-Age Program, soon becoming the Lead Teacher. Looking to expand our impact, I designed and began our Adult Day Program, which launched in summer 2023.
Today, I manage both of our on-site care programs. To best serve our community, I continually expand my knowledge through advanced training in Applied Behavior Analysis, emergency preparedness, and specialized medical conditions. You may also find me assisting with the planning of our Annual Western Hoedown or subbing for Tailored Day Services.
